Congratulations to Alexander Lofts for receiving the first-ever Downtown West Palm Beach Urban Design Award!

This award recognizes excellence in urban design with new projects in the downtown area. With its accompanying Art Plaza, the Alexander Lofts was selected by the Downtown Action Committee as the recipient for this award for its substantial contribution to the enhancement of the city’s Downtown Master Plan.

We are proud to have had the opportunity to design the landscape for the Alexander Plaza, which was inspired by the local geology.  The project uses a rich variety of native limestone to create a wave-like form representing the groundswell of cultures that have influenced this region of Florida.

The Plaza is an open space for informal neighborhood gatherings serving both visitors and local residents, and we look forward to its continued success in serving the community.
