The Foundry is an adaptive reuse project that will form a self-sustaining center for creativity, innovation, and collaboration in Cambridge. At the intersection of Kendall Square and East Cambridge, indoor/outdoor spaces create a fluid experience from interior maker spaces to outdoor workshops, setting the stage for programs for the visual & performing arts, entrepreneurship, technology, and workforce education.  This project will facilitate access for local residents, especially underrepresented communities and adjacent neighborhoods, tying them to the dynamic working and learning environment of Kendall Square. Foundry Row will allow for all-season outdoor programming that engages the community within this collaborative space.
