Via Montejo Mixed-Use Masterplan

Project Location: Merida, Mexico

Client: Thor Urbana

Architect: Elkus Manfredi

This harbor development, centrally located between Merida City Center and the Gulf of Mexico, will become an iconic lifestyle center with local influences, offering international brands in fashion, home, and entertainment; a central hotel and restaurants. The 50,000 square meter development was planned to incorporate an iconic water feature and internal staircase that will mimic the tidal movement of the ocean and local cenotes. Mikyoung Kim Design provided full services from a site master plan for the mixed-use development to construction detail drawings on the retail portion, Harbor Merida.

In collaboration with Elkus Manfredi Architects and Grow. Arquitectos.
