Please join us for Mikyoung’s lecture on April 25th at 6:30 at Stanford University, where she will discuss the interface of art and science in her most recent work; the merging of ecology and psychology with the art of landscape. The lecture will focus on her firm’s unique process that searches for sculptural solutions to the most pressing stormwater management issues facing our cities today. Mikyoung will also discuss the influence of psychological research and her music background in the design of restorative spaces.

The lecture series, entitled “Land, Buildings & Real Estate: Caretakers of a Legacy” are sponsored by the University Architect / Campus Planning and Design Office to bring together community enthusiasts, students and staff from across different disciplines to hear the latest innovations in building and design. The lectures provide the Bay Area architectural and design communities an opportunity to hear “nationally and internationally renowned experts in the field.” The lectures are free of charge and open to the public.
