MYKD is pleased to announce the selection of Bryan Chou, our Design Leader, for the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Pathways to Inclusion Cohort. This scholarship has been offered to 25 individuals of color who will gain access to the 2018 Fall Meeting, a one-year ULI membership, and a one-year mentorship program. Members will have the opportunity to gain insights from industry experts and develop their professional networks, while being leaders in the movement to increase participation of underrepresented groups in the land use and real estate fields.

The Pathways to Inclusion Initiative is a partnership between the ULI Boston/New England District Council, the Builders of Color Coalition, African American Real Estate Professionals (AAREP) New England, and the City of Boston Office of Resilience and Racial Equity.

Bryan feels fortunate to be a contributing member of this year’s cohort, as it is a “great opportunity to learn from the top industry leaders about ways to grow Boston and the other communities in which we work.”  He will be attending the Fall Meeting in Boston from October 8th – 11th, which will establish a track of programming for the three cohort events that will take place over the year-long program, ensuring structured connections to leaders in Boston real estate.

The Fall Meeting brings together over 6,000 professionals from around the world to discuss topics such as leadership and trends in the real estate industry. The event is sponsored by JP Morgan Chase & Co, Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston, and the ULI Boston/New England District Council.
