As we develop the design for the historic mobility platform at Ford’s Michigan Central Park, we’ve been focused on renewable energy systems. Through this park, Ford’s leadership in clean energy with their strategic investment in solar and wind systems closes the energy consumption loop in this 14-acre landscape in downtown Detroit.  This is truly a zero-emission park that will set the standard for future public realm development.  With Ford, our aim is to shows that foregrounding clean energy in civic design is beneficial for the environment along with our health and well-being, and should be a primary building block of all civic parks.
